Amelia Brewer LPC-S
I provide tele-health services in private practice. One of my primary areas of focus is working with adolescents and adults who are struggling with a variety of anxiety disorders, Perfectionism, OCD, and phobias. As an approved LPC supervisor, I also provide supervision and consultation to candidates learning to use evidenced based practices for OCD and phobias.
My training and experience have allowed me the ability to focus on anxiety and OCD in my practice. My counseling graduate program at the University of Central Oklahoma placed a heavy concentration on evidenced based treatment for anxiety, OCD and related disorders with an emphasis on Cognitive Behavioral Therapy with Exposure and Response Prevention. During my candidacy, I continued to gain clinical experience, training, and supervision working with a range of anxiety disorders, OCD, perfectionism, phobias and tic disorders. I continue to increase my knowledge with consultation among my colleagues as well as yearly trainings in this area.
