The clinicians at AOBHC are leading providers of specialized treatment for anxiety, OCD, mood, trauma, and behavioral issues in the state of Indiana. Our psychologists and counselors are experienced and skilled in successfully helping children, adults, parents, young adults, teens, couples, and families overcome challenges and diagnoses that range from straightforward to severe and complex using cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), exposure therapy, mindfulness, and compassion-based interventions. We are open Monday through Saturday and have two physical locations, Schererville and Chesterton, Indiana. We also provide telehealth in nearly 40 states.

Training Description:

I am the founder and director of the Anxiety & OCD Behavioral Health Center (AOBHC) and am a former board member of OCD Midwest. I am licensed in Indiana and Illinois and am authorized to provide telehealth in 40 states. I have two decades of clinical and research experience in anxiety disorders, OCD, and related disorders, and utilize evidence-based treatments in my practice (e.g., CBT, ERP, ACT, Supportive Parenting for Anxious Childhood Emotions (SPACE)). I received my graduate and post-graduate training from several experts who are scientific advisory board members and BTTI faculty members of IOCDF.

Diversity Statement:

I am culturally aware and sensitive to my patients’ unique needs. I recognize the impact of background and experiences in influencing attitudes, values, and biases on my patients’ psychological processes. While I practice fluency in addressing cultural, gender, religious, and political diversity of the surrounding community, I also recognize the limits of my multicultural competency and expertise.

I participate in ongoing education and professional development ensuring that relevant theories, therapeutic strategies and interventions are utilized in working with diverse populations.
