Narrative of Services:
I use scientifically-tested cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), including exposure and response prevention (ERP), to treat OCD. I also draw upon my training in other treatments such as motivational interviewing (MI) and acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT).
My approach to therapy goes beyond sitting in an office and talking about problems. If we work together, we will take the work we do and embed it in the real world…your life. I will ask you to work on things outside of my office between our sessions. These elements are essential to helping you make meaningful progress and achieve your goals.
Since 2009, I have worked with clients with anxiety, phobias, panic, and depression. I have attended numerous presentations by leading experts in the field of OCD in order to expand my knowledge and ability to treat clients with OCD. I have continued to consultation with experts in the field to improve my skills and knowledge.
