Dr. Virginia Fowkes Clark is a clinical psychologist who provides treatment to clients of all ages with a specialty in the assessment and treatment of children and adolescents. Areas of practice include depression, anxiety, including obsessive compulsive disorder (10 percent) and panic disorder, and behavioral and developmental problems, including trichotillomania and ADHD. Other areas of practice include women’s issues and helping clients cope with family members with alcoholism or addictions. Dr. Clark is registered as a Star Behavioral Health Provider to help military members and their families.
Dr. Clark received her Ph.D. from Miami University (Ohio) and belongs to both the Ohio and American Psychological Associations. She has been treating patients of all ages with OCD for over 20 years.
Every year I obtain continuing education in cultural competence. In the past four years, most has been in the treatment of LGBTQ clients. I participate in the Ohio Psychological Association Diversity Committee meetings.
She attends yearly a Multicultural Conference and LGBTQ+ training.
