Counselor
Narrative of Services:
My practice provides individual counseling for adults experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, and obsessive-compulsive–related concerns. Services include evidence-based interventions such as Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT). I have completed specialized training through NICABM on the diagnosis and treatment of OCD. Treatment focuses on reducing compulsive behaviors, managing intrusive thoughts, and building flexibility through values-based action. My approach is compassionate, collaborative, and grounded in practical skill development to support long-term growth and well-being
Training Description:
My clinical training and academic work have centered on anxiety, trauma, and obsessive-compulsive–related concerns. During my graduate studies in Professional Mental Health Counseling with an Addictions specialization at Lewis & Clark College, I developed a strong foundation in evidence-based treatment. I am currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Integral and Transpersonal Psychology, where I intend to include OCD in my doctoral research. I have completed specialized training through NICABM on the diagnosis and treatment of OCD and integrate ERP, CBT, ACT, DBT, and MBCT in my work with adults.
Diversity Statement:
My education and clinical training emphasize cultural competency and working with diverse populations. During my graduate studies in Professional Mental Health Counseling with an Addictions specialization at Lewis & Clark College, I completed coursework in Diversity and Social Justice. This coursework strengthened my understanding of systemic and cultural factors that influence mental health and continues to inform my client-centered approach. In my clinical work, I strive to create an inclusive, affirming space grounded in cultural humility and respect for each client’s lived experience.
