My practice specializes in OCD and anxiety-related disorders, including harm OCD, health OCD, relationship OCD, scrupulosity, and perinatal/postpartum OCD and anxiety. Approximately half to two-thirds of my weekly caseload consists of individuals with OCD or related presentations. I provide evidence-based treatment using mostly Inference-Based CBT (I-CBT), newly Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), and some Acceptance and Commitment supplementally (ACT). I also participate in ongoing OCD-focused consultation and a separate ongoing training to support clinical work. Services are provided via telehealth to clients throughout Georgia.
When ADHD, anxiety, or mood concerns are also present, I incorporate strategies to support attention, emotional well-being, and daily functioning so clients can fully engage in treatment and make meaningful progress toward their goals.
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in Georgia with over 10 years of clinical experience. I have been treating individuals with OCD and OCD-spectrum disorders for the past year and specialize in Inference-Based CBT (I-CBT) and Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP). I am currently engaged in ongoing OCD-focused training, including IOCDF-aligned consultation groups and specialized OCD Training School programs. My clinical work focuses on harm OCD, health OCD, relationship OCD, and perinatal/postpartum OCD, as well as panic disorder treatment and anxiety sensitivity.
My practice serves a diverse client population across Georgia via telehealth, including individuals from a range of cultural, racial, ethnic, religious, and socioeconomic backgrounds. I aim to provide culturally responsive care by considering identity, context, and lived experience in the treatment of OCD and anxiety-related disorders. I have experience working with clients across different life stages and strive to adapt evidence-based interventions, including ERP and I-CBT, in a manner that is respectful of cultural values and individual differences.
During my graduate training, I completed coursework in multicultural counseling and cultural competency. I also participate in ongoing professional development and continuing education focused on culturally responsive care and working with diverse populations as part of my regular clinical training and consultation activities as this is very important to me.
