Blair Cook PhD, LPC
I offer in-person and telehealth therapy for adults and young adults with OCD and related spectrum disorders, including panic disorder and specific phobias. I offer skills training for parents and partners to improve support and reduce accommodations according to the Yale SPACE treatment program. Approximately 80% of my clients have OCD or related disorders. My treatment modalities include CBT with an emphasis on ERP, ACT, as well as components of Mindfulness Self-Compassion.
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor and Doctor of Philosophy in Counselor Education and Supervision. I have been practicing for 10 years and have narrowed my focus to treating OCD over the last 5 years. In addition to a CBT focus in my PhD program and lengthy reading and researching on my own, I have attended OCD and related spectrum disorder treatment workshops, conferences, and trainings by renowned individuals in the OCD community.
I work with individuals from all races, cultures, and backgrounds. I continue my multicultural competence development through readings, teachings, and workshops to advance my awareness and provide the most ethical care possible.
