The OCD Center Los Angeles is a private, outpatient clinic specializing in Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT) for OCD and related OC Spectrum Disorders, including Body Dysmorphic Disorder, Hypochondria, Social Anxiety, Panic Disorder, Trichotillomania, and Dermatillomania (compulsive skin picking). We also offer six low-fee therapy/support groups – five for adults and one for adolescents. All groups are led by our staff therapists, and use the same treatment protocol as our individual CBT program. Four therapists on staff, all of whom specialize in CBT for these conditions. Services offered six days a week, including evenings and Saturdays. Telephone and webcam-based online therapy also available.
Founder and director of the OCD Center of Los Angeles, which he established in 1999. He received his master's degree from the Department of Counseling Psychology at USC in 1993, where his graduate thesis was a study comparing various treatments of Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD). Since then, his training and clinical experience has been focused almost exclusively on the treatment of OCD and related OC Spectrum Disorders. He has also been leading a therapy/support group for adults with OCD since 1997, and has presented at the annual IOCDF conference numerous times on the subject of OCD.
