I received my master’s degree in Clinical Psychology at Eastern Illinois University, and my undergraduate degree at Southern Illinois University. I have been have been a licensed psychotherapist since 1988 – first in Michigan, and since 1990, in California. I am also a certified graduate of the Behavioral Therapy Training Institute (BTTI) at the International OCD Foundation (IOCDF). Additionally, I am a professional member of IOCDF, the TLC Foundation for Body Focused Repetitive Behaviors and a former board member of the Central Coast Chapter of the International Eating Disorders Association (IAEDP).
I have been specializing in treating OCD and anxiety related disorders for the past seven years. For over six years I was a staff therapist at the OCD Center of Los Angeles. I worked exclusively with clients with all forms of OCD and related OC spectrum disorders. Prior to specializing in OCD I specialized in treating eating disorders for over 20 years. My approach is Cognitive Behavioral Therapy with an emphasis on Exposure and Response Prevention.
I treat adults, adolescents, and children. I offer Individual therapy, online therapy and an intensive out-patient treatment program.
