Narrative of Services:

I specialize in the treatment of OCD, anxiety and stress. I have worked in a variety of settings, including hospitals, university counseling centers, and the Department of Veterans Affairs. Approximately half of my caseload consists of individuals with OCD, and the other half includes individuals who run anxious in some way, whether they have generalized anxiety, panic disorder, social phobia, specific phobias, or stress or burnout. I am well connected with other resources that can be helpful as well, such as group offerings, online resources, and psychiatrists who specialize in the treatment of anxiety.

Treatment of Co-occurring Disorders:

I do treat comorbidities that commonly co-occur with OCD, such as generalized anxiety, social phobia, specific phobia, panic disorder, major depression, and ADHD. I use a combination of CBT and ACT to treat these co-occuring disorders alongside the OCD.

Training Description:

I completed my undergraduate degree at Harvard College and then worked for 10+ years as a Web developer before returning to school to study clinical psychology. I have 16+ years experience treating OCD and anxiety disorders. I pursued my masters and doctorate degrees at the PGSP-Stanford Psy.D. Consortium, went on to a pre-doctoral internship at University of Colorado at Boulder, and then obtained a post-doctoral residency at Kaiser. I served as a staff psychologist and clinical supervisor at Kaiser through 2019, where I trained post-doctoral fellows and led several treatment programs.
