Narrative of Services:

Danielle Dennis, PhD specializes in evidence-based treatments and roughly 90% of her practice is dedicated to treating those with OCD. She uses ERP and ACT to treat OCD. She has researched and published a number of articles on OCD.

Treatment of Co-occurring Disorders:

Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) is utilized for treatment of OCD. For treatment of co-occurring disorders (such as ADHD, Anxiety Disorders, ASD, Mood Disorders, and Eating Disorders) I utilize various Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Behavioral Therapy, Psychoeducation, and Motivational Interviewing.

Training Description:

I have specialized in the treatment of OCD throughout my career and have received extensive training from leading experts at McLean Hospital, The Mindfulness Change Group, and the Center for Cognitive Behavioral Psychotherapy. Over the years, I have successfully treated individuals experiencing a wide range of OCD presentations, including Relationship OCD (ROCD), Pedophilia OCD (POCD), Harm OCD, Health OCD, Scrupulosity, Fear of Being Canceled OCD, and other intrusive thought-based concerns.
In addition to treating common and complex OCD presentations, I have developed expertise in working with individuals whose symptoms have persisted despite prior therapy.

Diversity Statement:

I have provided exposure therapy for individuals of racially and economically diverse populations. I am particularly qualified to treat individuals with religious scrupulosity among Jewish individuals as I have extensive knowledge of the various laws.
