Emily DeSalvatore MS, LPC-MHSP
I treat individuals of all ages starting at 6 years old through adulthood. I hold a specialization in play therapy and expressive arts from my masters program and use this to creatively tailor CBT, ERP, ComB, ACT, DBT, and SPACE treatment to my clients specific needs. I have been providing this treatment for 8 years following two years of providing behavior coaching from a CBT lens in the public school system for children with emotional and behavioral concerns. My practice is a specialty clinic that solely focuses/sees clients on the OCD and the anxiety spectrum.
Depression, Anxiety (separation anxiety, generalized anxiety, social anxiety, phobias, etc). ADHD, ARFID, Panic Attacks, Sports and Performance Concerns, Health Anxiety, and Chronic Illness with comorbid OCD concerns.
I have been intensively trained and practiced Full DBT to fidelity under a Marsha Linehan trained clinician. Following 2 years of providing intensive DBT, I attended multiple trainings and was taught/supervised by a BTTI faculty member and adjunct professor at Vanderbilt University. I have presented at the annual IOCDF conference multiple times and have presented at the Anxiety and Depression Association or America conference of which I am a member of both. I am also a member of the Association for Applied Sports Psychology.
