Stacey Dobrinsky, PhD
Narrative of Services:
For nearly ten years, I have specialized in the treatment of OCD and related anxiety disorders. I provide weekly and intensive outpatient services to children, adolescents, and adults with OCD and anxiety disorders. I believe that therapy is most effective when it is evidence-based and conducted within the context of a strong therapeutic relationship. My practice utilizes cognitive behavior therapy (CBT), exposure response prevention (ERP), and acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT) modalities.
My pre-doctoral training was completed at the University of Florida OCD Clinic at Shands Hospital. During my time at University of Florida, I was trained in CBT and ERP for OCD. Following my postdoctoral training, I helped to open the Mclean Child and Adolescent OCD Institute, where I worked as the Director of Clinical Services and worked with children and adolescents with severe, treatment resistant OCD. I have attended the IOCDF BTTI training for children and adolescents, and have attended and run numerous Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) workshops.
