Narrative of Services:

For the past decade most of my practice has consisted of treating OCD as well as disorder that co occur, such as trauma, social anxiety, phobias to name a few. Utilizing ERPa (acceptance) both in person as well as in home in necessary. At this time 45-50-% of my practice consists of people struggling with OCD or co related disorders.

Treatment of Co-occurring Disorders:

Co-occurring disorder: depression, trauma, family , couples and parenting issues, autism, social anxiety, GAD, as well as other co-occurring disorder typically seen with OCD. Strategies draw from CBT, acceptance, motivational interviewing, Peggy Papp, emotional awareness from DBT to name a few.

Training Description:

My training is both in Marriage and Family, as well as Clinical Psychology with emphasis on CBT. Trained at the Beck Institute for 4 in person classes, (each 4 day seminars) as well as worked and further trained at the Cognitive Therapy Institute under a senior provider in the field of CBT. Training and practice in adolescent diversion, law enforcements, substance abuse, inpatient/PHP/IOP.

I have worked in multi cultural areas through out San Diego and the Boston area.

Bachelors’ degrees in Psychology BS and Bachelor’s in Art at San Diego State University. Tufts University Massachusetts, transferred to United States International University San Diego Campus with Masters in Marriage and Family and a Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology. I spent 10 years at Cognitive Therapy Institute as well as Family Health Services with a diverse population (Integrative Medicine). Escondido Youth Encounter working with gang youth.
