Narrative of Services:

I specialize in taking a trauma-informed approach to OCD, eating disorders, body dysmorphic disorder, anxiety and depression for adults and youth. I primarily use Exposure and Response Prevention in conjunction with Acceptance and Commitment Therapy to treat OCD and BDD, and approach eating disorders and other mental health concerns from an experiential psychodynamic approach, integrating exposure, values work, DBT skills, as is helpful for each individual and family’s needs.

I work with interpreters as resources are available.

Treatment of Co-occurring Disorders:

I provide a thorough assessment process in order to collaboratively plan treatment with my clients, focusing on integrating best practices for co-morbid conditions and close monitoring of safety and crisis management for medically complex eating disorders and suicidality.

Training Description:

I have extensive experience treating OCD, eating disorders, body dysmorphic disorder, and mood disorders in my career as a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker. I am BTTI trained, CBI trained, and CABT trained and regularly attend continuing education and consultation to strengthen my skills as a therapist.

Diversity Statement:

I have 8 years of experience in immigrant mental health, and have a passion for working with immigrant, second generation, and Limited English Proficient individuals and families. I am a white Latina (Argentine-American) and speak Spanish.
