My PhD research was in addictions treatment research and I have conducted research and clinical training in comorbidities common with substance use (anxiety/stress, depression, OCD, etc).
12 years ago, I was trained at the University of Pennsylvania’s Center for Treatment and Study of Anxiety (CTSA) in exposure treatment when I was on faculty there. More recently, I am completed a treatment through he Center for Anxiety & Behavior Therapy (CABT). I am board-certified in CBT (ABPP).
I have an expertise in Motivational Interviewing and can help patients engage effectively in treatment.
