Services provided include Exposure Response Prevention (ERP), Acceptance Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to address OCD and comorbid conditions that allow co-occurring conditions to be treated simultaneously and provide relief, and healing.
Treating OCD with comorbid conditions means you don’t have to pick just one diagnosis to fix first. The most effective approach is an integrated, simultaneous treatment plan tailored to your unique mind. By combining specialized Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) with other evidence based approaches, clinicians can balance your symptoms safely. Whether you are navigating depression, ADHD, or anxiety alongside OCD, your therapy can be adapted to support you as a whole person, relieving distress and helping you regain control over your daily life.
Dr. Drecun has more than 24 years experience working with OCD, anxiety-related disorders along with co-occurring conditions within a cognitive behavioral therapy framework and a mindfulness training paradigm. An individually designed treatment plan may include ERP, cognitive restructuring, anxiety reduction techniques, habit reversal, and other evidence-based treatment that includes ACT, and DBT.
Psychotherapy deals with the biological, psychological, social, cultural and spiritual aspects of diverse individuals of all social identities and of couples and families of all configurations. It is vital to acknowledge and understand that social and cultural factors influence human development and mental wellness. I place strong value on cultural sensitivity and cultural humility when working with clients of diverse backgrounds and populations.
