Narrative of Services:
In my practice, I treat adolescents and individuals with OCD and other related disorders using individual therapy, parent consultation and training, and family therapy. I offer in person and telehealth services.
Treatment of Co-occurring Disorders:
I treat adolescents and adults with OCD and range of other disorders including anxiety, depression, and BFRBs like trichotillomania and excoriation. I enjoy working with neurodiverse clients, particularly those with Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD). Also, I have a special interest in treating mothers and fathers with OCD, including but not limited to perinatal OCD.
Training Description:
I have expertise in treating OCD including Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP). I have post-doctoral training in OCD from internationally renowned specialists, including members of the IOCDF Scientific Advisory Board.
I am a licensed psychologist in NY & NJ with a decade of post-doctoral experiences in various settings including academia, college mental health, and private practice. I also conduct research on anxiety- spectrum disorders and other psychological topics. Please do not hesitate to reach out for more information and current availability!

I have enjoyed working with individuals of various genders, sexual orientations, racial/ethnic, and religious/ secular backgrounds. I have a special interest in working with individuals experiencing religious/ scrupulosity OCD and sexual orientation OCD.
I am fluent in Spanish and have conducted psychotherapy in Spanish & English.
I have an extensive background in publishing research, teaching courses, and leading workshops on multicultural approaches to therapy and training. I prioritize cultural sensitivity in my clinical work.
