Narrative of Services:

My practice specializes in the treatment of Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD), anxiety, panic, mood disorders, tics, and Tourette’s syndrome. I utilize strategies from Cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), Dialetical behavioral therapy (DBT), Inference-Based CBT (I-CBT), Acceptance Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Exposure Response Prevention (ERP) to help clients with their intrusive thoughts and OCD fears. I focus on values, self-compassion, and mindfulness practices. It is my priority to build a collaborative therapeutic relationship while tailoring treatment to each client’s unique needs and goals. I primarily work with clients 12 + in IL and CA.

Treatment of Co-occurring Disorders:

I provide Comprehensive Behavioral Intervention for Tics (CBIT). I also practice Acceptance and Committment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) to treat Mood Disorders and other co-occurring disorders.

Training Description:

I have completed specialized training (BTTI) for OCD through the International OCD foundation and comprehensive behavioral intervention for tics/Tourettes (CBIT). I am also trained in Supportive Parenting for Anxious Childhood Emotions (SPACE) with expanded application for young adults who strugggle to be independent. I regularly attend workshops and consultation groups to sharpen my clinical skills.
