My practice provides individualized, evidence-based psychotherapy for adults, couples, families, children and adolescents. OCD and related anxiety disorders are primary specialties. Treatment integrates Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), tailored to each patient’s needs. I also work with complex presentations and individuals who have made limited progress in previous treatment. I offer a free, in-depth, hour-long initial consultation to understand your concerns, discuss treatment options, and help you determine whether we’re a good fit. Services also include clinical consultation and training for mental health professionals.
I have nearly two decades of clinical experience, with a focus on OCD, anxiety, and complex clinical presentations. I completed advanced training through the International OCD Foundation’s Behavior Therapy Training Institute (BTTI) and UCLA Anxiety Disorders Research Center. I earned my BA at Stanford University and PhD at the California School of Professional Psychology, and served as a visiting scholar in psychology at Oxford University. My background also includes extensive experience teaching doctoral-level courses in behavioral and cognitive therapies and providing clinical consultation and training to mental health professionals.
I have extensive training and experience working cross-culturally with diverse populations. I have served as both a clinician and clinical supervisor at the Los Angeles LGBTQ+ Center. I also have substantial experience addressing the needs of Jewish individuals and families across a broad spectrum of religious and cultural identities, including secular, liberal, traditional, Orthodox, Hasidic, and frum communities. My approach emphasizes cultural humility, respect for each person’s values and identity, and sensitivity to how family, community, religion, and experiences of marginalization shape treatment needs and goals. I strive to make treatment collaborative, culturally responsive, and welcoming to patients and families.
