Narrative of Services:

At Feldman Therapy, OCD treatment is a primary focus of my clinical practice, representing approximately 60–70% of my caseload. I have substantial clinical experience treating OCD and related anxiety disorders, working with individuals presenting with a wide range of OCD themes and symptom profiles. My clinical approach emphasizes evidence-based treatments, particularly Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), while integrating psychodynamic understanding when appropriate. I specialize in helping individuals navigate intrusive thoughts, compulsive behaviors, rumination, reassurance-seeking, and intolerance of uncertainty, with an emphasis on lasting behavioral change and psychological flexibility.

Training Description:

I have been treating individuals with OCD and related disorders for the past three years, with a strong commitment to ongoing clinical training and professional development. I have completed specialized workshops through the International OCD Foundation (IOCDF) as well as NOCD, and participate in biweekly clinical consultations with experienced OCD specialists to continually refine my approach. I have also engaged in professional email correspondence with leading experts in the field, including Dr. Jonathan Grayson, seeking guidance on challenging clinical presentations. These exchanges have provided valuable insights that continue to inform my clinical work. My approach emphasizes evidence-based treatments, particularly ERP and ACT.

Diversity Statement:

My graduate education at Antioch University placed a strong emphasis on cultural humility, diversity, and the importance of understanding each individual’s unique lived experience. Throughout my clinical career, particularly in residential and outpatient treatment settings, I have worked extensively with individuals from diverse cultural, socioeconomic, ethnic, and religious backgrounds. These experiences have reinforced my belief that cultural competency is not simply a skill to acquire, but an ongoing process of listening, learning, and challenging one’s own assumptions. I strive to approach every client with curiosity, openness, and respect, allowing their individual experiences and perspectives to inform our therapeutic work.
