Andrea N. Furgala LISW-CP

Andrea works along side a team of clinician’s at the Moment Center for Anxiety Disorders. The primary focus of the practice is OCD and anxiety disorders. Andrea has been treating patients with anxiety and OCD for more than 15 years, though specifically utilizing ERP for 4 years. Previously, Andrea worked in an intensive DBT program for 8 years with children, teens & adults.

Bipolar, Depression, Anxiety, Specific Phobia’s, Disruptive Mood Dysregulation Disorder. Depending on the needs of the client, I will incorporate DBT skills and strategies for co-occurring disorders.

Andrea was intensively trained in 2020 through the UPenn Center for the Treatment and Study of Anxiety in Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP). She has completed both the intensive ERP training as well as the training for pediatric ERP, specific phobia training, and S.P.A.C.E training with Dr. Eli Lebowitz at the Yale Child Study Center. She is intensively trained in DBT for children, teens & Adults. She has more than 15 years experience as a licensed mental health professional.
