Narrative of Services:

Dr. Easton Gaines is a New York licensed psychologist and founder of MindCare Psychology, PLLC, specializing in anxiety, OCD, and OCD-spectrum conditions across the lifespan. She offers telehealth throughout New York State, home visits in Westchester County, and in-person sessions. Her caseload centers on OCD (including harm, relationship/ROCD, perfectionism, and scrupulosity themes), health anxiety, BDD, trichotillomania, and tics, as well as perinatal OCD and intrusive thoughts in new and expecting parents. Treatment is grounded in exposure and response prevention (ERP), CBT, and ACT, with CBIT for tics and family involvement for children and teens. She works especially often with high-achieving professionals and perfectionists, and with anxious kids and the parents supporting them, offering warm, collaborative care that helps clients stop letting anxiety make their decisions.

Treatment of Co-occurring Disorders:

Individualized plans based on each person and their symptoms.

Training Description:

I am a licensed psychologist (PsyD) with extensive training in cognitive-behavioral and third-wave approaches, including exposure and response prevention (ERP) and ACT for OCD and anxiety-spectrum presentations across the lifespan. My clinical experience spans individual and family work with children, adolescents, and adults presenting with OCD, ROCD, health anxiety, BDD, body-focused repetitive behaviors, tics, and related conditions. I have completed graduate and postdoctoral training in evidence-based anxiety treatment and have pursued ongoing continuing education in OCD-spectrum disorders. I have also completed specialized training in perinatal mental health and am pursuing PMH-C certification through Postpartum Support International, with a focus on perinatal OCD and intrusive thoughts. I am currently completing IOCDF Behavior Therapy Training Institute (BTTI) certification to further specialize in gold-standard ERP treatment for OCD.
