Narrative of Services:

Offering ongoing assessment, therapy, consultation and training of professionals for children, adolescents and adults with OCD, all anxiety disorders, PTSD/trauma and related disorders. Percentage of practice treating OCD/OCD related disorder clients: 40% with 60% anxiety disorders/trauma. In addition to ACT and ERP skills training, I teach sensory modulation and affect regulation skills. I require daily skills practice and/or ACT/ERP homework completion as part of an ongoing commitment to change.

Treatment of Co-occurring Disorders:

Anxiety and mood disorders, Tourettes, ADHD, peripartum OCD and anxiety, and trauma experience/PTSD

Training Description:

Have more than 20 years of postgraduate CBT, ERP, & ACT training specific to OCD, trauma, and anxiety disorders. Participated in ongoing consultation/study groups. Completed a McClean’s Hospital three day training re: ACT and ERP for children and adolescents and CEU training with Bradley/Hasbro Hospital OCD experts. Completed American Society of Clinical Hypnosis continuing education training for CBT & imaginal exposure protocols as preparation for in vivo ERP. Attended BTTI three day intensive trainings (adult and pediatric). American Society of Clinical Hypnosis approved continuing education training for CBT & ERP treatment protocols as preparation for in vivo ERP.

I am an interracial family member and work with a range of multicultural populations in a town committed to pluralism and interfaith exchange, with racial, LGBTQ+, socioeconomic, religious, ability and country of origin diversity. I work with children, teens, adults and families who have Black, Asian, LatinX, Native American, LGTBQ+, adoption, socioeconomic, disability, neurodivergent, Christian, Islamic, Jewish, Unitarian, Buddhist, Hindu and Immigration/refugee intersectionalities that may often be a focus in therapy.

I attend at least one training per year on racial, religious, cultural, LGTBQ+ and/or socioeconomic diversity.My training areas have included implicit bias in therapy and mediation, and diversity training regarding Asian/ Asian American, Black, LatinX American, Islamic, neurodivergent, disabled and LGBTQ+ cultures/experiences and values. I have been a long time practitioner/trainee in Tibetan Buddhist meditation and integrate mindfulness and meditation into therapy.
