Narrative of Services:

I am currently the owner and sole practitioner of a private practice in Arlington, VA offering both in person and telehealth therapy to children, adolescents, and young adults. About half of my work is targeted towards OCD and related disorders through the use of evidence-based treatments. I also focus on anxiety and related disorders. I am able to provide weekly or more intensive (multiple times per week) treatment options. I engage parents and family heavily in treatment for children (and teens when necessary). I also collaborate extensively with client’s doctors, psychiatrists, and schools.

Treatment of Co-occurring Disorders:

Anxiety, specific phobias, panic using CBT and ERP.

Training Description:

I have been directly treating OCD and OCD Spectrum Disorders for over 2 years. I received training from multiple supervisors who specialize in treating OCD during my pre-doctoral internship and post-doctoral fellowship. In 2022 I completed the IOCDF Pediatric BTTI certificate including the follow up consultation groups with BTTI faculty. I am an active member of IOCDF and stay up to date on information relevant to OCD treatment. I am also actively involved in an ongoing virtual consultation group led by a OCD treatment specialist from the University of Chicago.

Diversity Statement:

Living and working in Charlottesville and Richmond Virginia for five years, through graduate school and internship, helped to solidify my commitment to working from and towards a social justice mindset. At my university, I helped initiate a monthly program to discuss multi-cultural practices with guest speakers and prioritize the recruitment of diverse faculty and students through the development of an inaugural “Diversifying Clinical and School Psychology Day.” I then successfully created, spearheaded, and facilitated discussion groups – “Conversations about Racial Equity (CARE).” I also remain committed to local activism around numerous causes in Washington, DC.

Many hours of my training were conducted with racially, ethnically, and culturally diverse children, adolescents, and families. I received a great amount of direct supervision and didactic training in this area as well. I also have worked with an extensive number of children and adolescents who identify as LGBTQAI+
