My practice specializes in OCD and related anxiety disorders in children, adolescents, and adults. Approximately one-third of my caseload has OCD, and I estimate that I have treated about 90 clients with OCD since developing this specialty five years ago. I provide individualized ERP. I also offer SPACE-informed parent coaching to reduce family accommodation. Areas of focus include intrusive thoughts, mental compulsions, emetophobia, contamination, “just-right” symptoms, moral scrupulosity, and existential OCD. I frequently work with neurodivergent clients.
I provide individualized OCD treatment that accounts for co-occurring anxiety, ADHD, autism, and mood symptoms. ERP remains central, but I adapt the pace, structure, communication style, and interventions to each client’s developmental and neurodivergent needs. Treatment is relational and may also incorporate CBT, play-based approaches, parent coaching, and strategies for emotional regulation and executive functioning. When appropriate, I collaborate with parents, psychiatrists, schools, and other providers to support coordinated care.
I am a California Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with specialized training and clinical experience treating OCD across childhood, adolescence, and adulthood. My continuing education includes ERP, CBT, ACT, DBT, SPACE parent-based treatment, and treatment of perinatal OCD and anxiety. I regularly pursue OCD-focused consultation and continuing education and integrate evidence-based treatment with a developmental, relational, and neurodiversity-affirming approach. My work includes direct treatment, parent coaching, assessment of family accommodation, and collaboration with psychiatrists and other members of a client’s treatment team.
My Los Angeles–based practice serves children, adolescents, adults, and families with varied identities, backgrounds, and family structures. I strive to provide an affirming and respectful environment that is responsive to each client’s individual experiences, values, and treatment needs.
I have completed ongoing training in cultural competency and have experience working with clients from a range of backgrounds and identities. I approach this work with humility and consider how identity, culture, family context, and access to resources may shape each client’s experiences and treatment needs. I remain attentive to the limits of my own perspective and view continued learning and self-reflection as essential parts of ethical clinical practice.
