Narrative of Services:

I provide with psychopharmacological treatment (medication management), DBT, CBT, behavioral interventions and family therapy. I have treated children, adolescents and adults with mental illnesses for 22 years. I have experience treating patients with learning disabilities, mental retardation, autism, anxiety disorders, panic disorder, depression, mood dysregulation, ADHD, bipolar disorder, psychosis , substance use and dementia.

Training Description:

I am a board certified child and adolescent psychiatrist with 22 years of experience treating child, adolescents and adults with OCD, autism spectrum disorders and comorbidities (anxiety, depression, mood dysregulation and substance use). I have worked in all levels in then continuum of care, including inpatient, partial hospitalization programs, residential facilities, school settings and outpatient offices. I work full time at McLean Hospital and Massachusetts General Hospitals, Harvard University Medical School. I am currently taking new patients.

Diversity Statement:

One of my areas of expertise is cross-cultural psychiatry. I am able to help patients from all different cultures being mindful of their cultural background and life circumstances. I have also dedicated a significant amount of time to help transgender youngsters with gender dysphoria, depression, anxiety and substance use.

I have lecture extensively on the treatment of Latin-American patients with psychiatric illnesses.
