I provide outpatient individual therapy for adolescents and adults, specializing in OCD, anxiety disorders, perinatal mental health, depression, and related concerns. My clinical work includes treating OCD presentations such as intrusive thoughts, compulsions, reassurance-seeking, perfectionism, and perinatal OCD. I utilize evidence-based approaches, including Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and EMDR when clinically appropriate. Treatment is individualized and focuses on reducing symptom severity, improving daily functioning, and helping clients develop a healthier relationship with uncertainty and distress.
I treat OCD alongside co-occurring perinatal mental health concerns, anxiety, depression, and perfectionism. Treatment is individualized and evidence-based, incorporating Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), and EMDR when clinically appropriate. Treatment addresses the interaction between OCD symptoms and co-occurring concerns while prioritizing symptom reduction, improved functioning, and long-term recovery. I utilize a trauma-informed, compassionate approach and collaborate with psychiatric and other healthcare providers when appropriate to support comprehensive care.
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in Arkansas and a Perinatal Mental Health Certified (PMH-C) provider with over six years of clinical experience. My clinical work includes treating OCD and related disorders in adolescents and adults, including harm, contamination, relationship, and perinatal OCD. My approach incorporates evidence-based interventions, including Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and EMDR when clinically appropriate. My PMH-C certification provides specialized knowledge in perinatal mental health, particularly the intersection of OCD, intrusive thoughts, anxiety, and mood disorders during pregnancy and postpartum. I am passionate about expanding access to specialized OCD care in rural Arkansas.
As a Licensed Professional Counselor serving Arkansas, I have experience working with diverse individuals and families across varying cultural, socioeconomic, geographic, and family backgrounds. My clinical work includes supporting individuals navigating perinatal mental health concerns, reproductive experiences, trauma, anxiety, and OCD. I recognize the unique barriers to mental health care in rural communities, including limited access to specialized providers, stigma, and educational gaps. My approach is client-centered, trauma-informed, and culturally responsive, with an emphasis on understanding each individual’s lived experiences, values, identities, and unique treatment needs.
