Social Worker
  • LGBTQIA+ Affirming
Narrative of Services:

I am a telehealth clinician in NC and WI at Horizons Therapy for Liberation, a small group practice that specializes in serving the LGBTQIA+ community. Most of my clients come to me for ERP therapy for OCD, which I have been providing for the past two years.
In addition to OCD, I work with co-occurring depression, panic disorder, social anxiety, and with individuals in recovery from substance use. I provide neurodivergent-affirming care and strive to tailor treatment to each person’s needs and lived experience.

Treatment of Co-occurring Disorders:

I treat OCD and co-occurring disorders using an integrated approach. I typically address both simultaneously, while prioritizing the symptoms causing the most current distress or impairment. Treatment may look like combining ERP for OCD with evidence-based interventions such as ACT, DBT, and other approaches for co-occurring conditions, as treating these alongside OCD is crucial for long-term recovery.

Training Description:

I have completed intensive training in Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) through the Cognitive Behavioral Institute, along with additional specialized trainings through NOCD focused on ERP for OCD, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) for OCD, OCD psychoeducation, and treatment of co-occurring disorders.
