My practice specializes in evidence-based treatment for adults with OCD, anxiety, and related concerns. OCD represents a primary focus of my clinical work and training. I completed specialized postdoctoral training at the Northwell Health OCD Center, where I gained extensive experience assessing and treating adults with OCD across a range of symptom presentations. I provide individualized Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), integrated with Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), to help clients reduce compulsive responding, increase flexibility around uncertainty, and build meaningful lives beyond OCD.
When OCD co-occurs with anxiety, treatment is individualized to address both concerns while maintaining a clear focus on evidence-based OCD care. I primarily use Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and cognitive-behavioral strategies. Treatment targets avoidance, reassurance-seeking, compulsive behaviors, intolerance of uncertainty, and other patterns that may maintain both OCD and anxiety. The structure and focus of treatment are tailored to each client’s presenting concerns, goals, and functional needs.
I have over four years of specialized experience treating OCD and related disorders. Since 2022, I have trained at the Northwell Health OCD Center, first as a psychology extern and subsequently as a postdoctoral fellow. My training has included individual Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), ERP groups, OCD family groups, maintenance treatment, assessment, and weekly specialized supervision and team consultation. I have also treated OCPD using CBT for perfectionism and have experience integrating Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) into evidence-based treatment.
