Christina Gugino, MS, LMHC
Narrative of Services:
Ms. Gugino is an OCD Massachusetts executive board member and a member of the New England ACT Chapter, the International OCD Foundation, and the American Counseling Association. While working at the OCDI, she participated in the treatment of hundreds of people with OCD. She provides home and community based behavior therapy to children, adolescents and adults with OCD and OCD Spectrum Disorders who live in Boston and the North Shore of Massachusetts.
Christina Albano Gugino, LMHC, is a home based behavior therapist with Denise Egan-Stack. Ms. Gugino earned her Masters Degree from Northeastern University’s Masters in Counseling Program with a focus on CBT. She completed her graduate school training at the OCD Institute at McLean Hospital in Belmont, MA, where she received extensive training in Exposure and Response Prevention, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy from leading experts in the field. For several years after graduate school, Ms. Gugino worked at the OCDI in various capacities, including as a Community Residence Counselor, Research Assistant, and Clinical Research Coordinator.
