Ozge Gurel PhD
Dr. Gurel provides CBT, ERP and mindfulness practices for treatment of OCD and related disorders as well for sleep problems with all adult populations. She specializes is working with women experiencing OCD symptoms, anxiety and adjustment problems during pregnancy and postpartum period. She takes on teaching roles for psychiatry residents at Georgetown University, School of Medicine, Department of Psychiatry. 95% of her practice is dedicated to OCD and related disorders.
Dr Gurel received her doctoral degree from American University. She has experience working with college students through her training at Virginia Tech counseling center.
Dr. Gurel received CBT and Exposure with Response Prevention (ERP) training and supervision as a staff psychologist at Behavior Therapy Center from 2007 to 2012.
Almost all her practice has been dedicated to treating OCD and related disorders since 2007.
