Ozge Gurel PhD
Dr. Gurel provides CBT, ERP and mindfulness practices for treatment of OCD, panic disorders, specific phobias, generalized anxiety, trichotillomania, skin picking, body dysmorphic disorder (BDD), depression and sleep problems. She works with women experiencing anxiety and mood symptoms during pregnancy and/or postpartum period. She teaches and trains psychiatry residents in CBT at Georgetown University, School of Medicine, Department of Psychiatry.

Dr. Gurel received CBT and Exposure with Response Prevention (ERP) training and supervision as a staff psychologist at Behavior Therapy Center from 2007 to 2012. She received her doctoral degree from American University. She has experience working with college students through her training at Virginia Tech counseling center.
