Narrative of Services:
I have spent the majority of my clinical and research experience in the area of Anxiety Disorders (panic, worry, social anxiety, specific phobias), Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD), and Trauma/PTSD. Therefore, I feel particularly well-suited to provide services in this area. I provide empirically supported treatments including Exposure and Response Prevention for OCD. I am currently a member of the Anxiety, OCD and Trauma specialty clinic at LivingRite, The Center for Behavioral Medicine.
I am a Licensed Clinical Psychologist and my primary therapeutic orientation is Cognitive Behavioral (CBT). I completed my undergraduate at Michigan State University and received my doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology from Northern Illinois University where I was a member of the Anxiety Disorders Research lab. I completed my internship at the Ann Arbor VA Medical Center, and I completed my postdoctoral fellowship at the University of Michigan/Ann Arbor VA Consortium. While on internship and postdoc, I focused my training in the areas of Anxiety Disorders, OCD, Trauma/PTSD, Women’s Health, Chronic Depression, and Advanced Psychodiagnostic Assessment.
