- LGBTQIA+ Affirming
My practice currently offers virtual therapy throughout California for adolescents and adults with OCD, anxiety disorders, and related concerns. I specialize in evidence-based treatment for OCD using Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), often integrated with Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). I have treated more than 100 individuals with OCD and OCD-related disorders, and over two-thirds of my private practice is dedicated to individuals with OCD. I work with a range of OCD presentations, including intrusive thoughts, harm OCD, contamination concerns, checking, “just right” and symmetry, relationship OCD, health-related fears, reassurance seeking, and perfectionism. I also work with parents and families to reduce accommodation and support treatment progress.
I am a licensed psychologist in California specializing in the treatment of OCD and anxiety disorders. I have advanced training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Habit Reversal Training (HRT), and SPACE (Supportive Parenting for Anxious Childhood Emotions). My approach is evidence-based and individualized, with an emphasis on helping clients increase willingness to experience uncertainty and discomfort, reduce compulsive responding and avoidance, and build greater flexibility around anxiety and intrusive thoughts.
I am passionate about cultivating an inclusive practice centered on identity development, with a special focus on supporting LGBTQ clients in spaces where vulnerability is met with compassion and growth.
