Narrative of Services:
As a clinical psychologist, I have a doctoral level of training and specialize in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. One of my primary specialities is treating Obsessive Compulsive and Related Disorders using Exposure and Response Prevention. In CBT, individuals learn how to recognize typical thought patterns that feed into anxiety and depression. There are many effective CBT methods for challenging unhealthy thinking that I teach and help clients apply to their daily lives. Behavioral interventions include identifying and recording compulsive behaviors, engaging in exposures (confronting feared situations using skills taught in therapy), learning how to use healthy alternatives, and behavior modification.
Training Description:
My doctorate is from the University of Minnesota Clinical Psychology PhD program, and I completed my clinical internship and post-doctoral training at the University of Washington Medical Center in Seattle, WA where I was later a faculty member in the Department of Psychiatry. I have specialized experience and training in anxiety disorders and OCD. This includes past experience at an anxiety disorder clinic providing treatment for specific anxiety disorders and ongoing participation in a specialized OCD consultation group with the Lindner Center of Hope in Cincinnati for providers.
Diversity Statement:

I am an LGBTQ+ allied provider. Respecting diversity of all kinds is very important to me. My doctoral training included education on and experiences working with diverse populations and for developing cultural competency, and I have completed many continuing education trainings on diversity and cultural competency.
