Narrative of Services:

I am a licensed counseling psychologist specializing in the treatment of obsessive compulsive disorder (OCD), anxiety, body-focused repetitive behaviors (BFRBs), tic disorders, depression, insomnia, and related concerns across the lifespan. Using evidence-based treatments such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), I work collaboratively with clients to create lasting change so they can live meaningful, values-driven lives. I tailor care to each person, taking into account the cultural and contextual factors impacting them. Making changes takes courage, which is why I pair a structured, goal-focused approach with warmth and compassion to ensure clients feel both supported and challenged.

Treatment of Co-occurring Disorders:

I have extensive experience treating OCD, anxiety, BRRBs, tic disorders, and related disorders, along with other challenges that may co-occur.

Training Description:

I completed my PhD in counseling psychology at New York University and my predoctoral internship at Trinitas Regional Medical Center in Elizabeth, NJ. During my postdoctoral fellowship at The Reeds Center in New York, NY, I obtained advanced training in OCD and anxiety disorders. I continued my work at The Reeds Center as a staff psychologist and practice manager after fellowship until I transitioned to an assistant professor position at Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta and Emory University. I am now working as a contractor for two practices that specialize in OCD, anxiety, and related disorders.

Diversity Statement:

I welcome and value working with individuals with diverse identities and backgrounds. Diversity, culture, and context are integral to my training and practice as a counseling psychologist.
