Narrative of Services:

The majority of my practice focuses on treatment of various anxiety related issues (GAD, Social Anxiety, Phobias, Separation Anxiety, Health Illness Anxiety, Perfectionism), OCD, Skin picking or hair pulling, and health issues (acute and chronic pain conditions).

I have worked with diverse backgrounds including individuals from rural Appalachia, African American, Cherokee Indian, Indian, and Hispanic backgrounds.

Treatment of Co-occurring Disorders:

I work with individuals with various difficulties including anxiety, depression, sleep problems, stress management. I also work with individuals suffering with chronic medical conditions and pain issues. Typically the Client and I together identify the treatment goals including which issues to address first. Often Clients are taught various skills to help their presenting concerns as part of the first few sessions.
