Narrative of Services:
I approach treatment in a collaborative manner, where we identify goals you have and then work together in changing patterns of thinking and behaving that have prevented you from reaching your full potential. I support individuals in finding their strengths to overcome their challenges and in learning new ways of adapting and responding to changes and stress. We will work to not only improve symptoms, but to also fix the underlying belief systems that create emotional distress.
Training Description:
I have expertise helping children and adolescents with behavioral, emotional, and social concerns, such as attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), autism spectrum disorder (ASD), as well as those who struggle with perfectionism, have poor self-esteem, or engage in self-harm. I am also well versed in working with adults from diverse backgrounds and diagnoses, such as anxiety and worry, depression, stress, and grief. I have worked with clients individually, in group settings, and for family therapy in outpatient and intensive outpatient clinics, in hospitals, in a community mental health center, and in a residential school environment.
