Narrative of Services:
Approximately 40% of my current caseload consists of individuals with OCD or related disorders. Since 2019, I have treated approximately 10–15 individuals with OCD across a range of presentations, including contamination, harm, relationship, existential, BFRBs, and emetophobia-related OCD. My practice provides individual therapy for children, adolescents, and adults using Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) as the primary treatment approach, integrated with CBT, DBT, and other evidence-based interventions as clinically indicated. I also treat common co-occurring conditions, including anxiety, ADHD, mood disorders, and eating disorders.
Treatment of Co-occurring Disorders:
Because OCD commonly occurs alongside anxiety, ADHD, mood disorders, and eating disorders, I take an integrated treatment approach. I use ERP as the foundation of OCD treatment while incorporating CBT, DBT, motivational interviewing, and eating disorder interventions when clinically appropriate. Treatment is individualized based on each client’s goals and presentation, and I collaborate with psychiatrists, physicians, dietitians, and other providers when needed to ensure comprehensive, evidence-based care.
Training Description:
I have been treating individuals with OCD since 2019 and have completed specialized training in Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) through NOCD, ContinuED, NetCE, eCare Behavioral Health Institute, and the OCD Institute of Texas. I regularly engage in self-directed study through current literature, books, webinars, and continuing education to remain up to date with evidence-based OCD treatment. My practice emphasizes ERP while integrating CBT, DBT, motivational interviewing, and other evidence-based approaches when clinically appropriate to address co-occurring concerns and support long-term recovery.
Diversity Statement:
My practice serves children, adolescents, and adults from diverse cultural, religious, and identity backgrounds. I have additional experience working with Orthodox Jewish clients and understand the importance of integrating clients’ cultural and religious values into evidence-based OCD treatment. I also strive to provide an affirming, inclusive environment for LGBTQIA+ individuals and tailor treatment to each person’s unique experiences and goals.
Throughout my training and clinical practice, I have prioritized culturally responsive, evidence-based care. I have additional education and clinical experience working with Orthodox Jewish clients, including understanding how religious beliefs and practices may intersect with OCD symptoms and treatment. I also have experience providing affirming care to LGBTQIA+ individuals and recognize the importance of adapting treatment to each client’s cultural background, identity, values, and lived experiences while maintaining fidelity to evidence-based interventions such as Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP).
