Amy Jenks PsyD
Dr. Jenks provides evidence-based treatment for OCD, obsessive-compulsive spectrum disorders (hair-pulling, skin-picking), and anxiety disorders in children, adolescents and adults. She has extensive training and experience in CBT and ACT therapy and aims to provide the highest quality treatment that is individualized and based on the latest scientific research. Dr. Jenks is known for her warmth, creativity and dedication to her client’s and their family’s. Her areas of specialization include Pediatric OCD and Acceptance-Enhanced ERP.
Dr. Amy Jenks is the Director of the Bay Area OCD and Anxiety Center and an Assistant Clinical Professor of Psychiatry at UCSF. She is a graduate of the Pediatric and Adult Behavior Therapy Training Institutes and has been supervised by several members of the Scientific Advisory Board. Dr. Jenks is an active member of the IOCDF and contributes her time to OCD awareness and education.
