Narrative of Services:

My practice specializes in OCD, compulsive internet use, and anxiety disorders. The majority of my practice presents with these conditions. I have treated and supervised tens of dozens of child and parental anxiety cases, including postpartum mental health conditions. I see many knowledge workers and many parents in my practice.

The Medi-Cal I accept is specific to Ventura County Gold Coast/Carelon members. At this time I am not in network with Medi-Cal plans from other CA counties.

Treatment of Co-occurring Disorders:

In addition to OCD, I treat anxiety disorders using Cognitive Behavioral methods, specifically ERP and ACT. I also treating parenting stress and compulsive use of digital technology.

Training Description:

I received live 1:1 training in ERP and ongoing 1:1 supervision with an OCD specialist/clinical psychologist in NYC who holds a faculty position at NYU and provides supervision for doctoral students at Pace University. I trained in Exposure and Response Prevention through the Cognitive Behavioral Institute and I am in a supervision group with a well known expert and author in Pasadena, CA. I completed Postpartum Support International’s training for Perinatal Mood and Anxiety Disorders and I am trained in the SPACE Program for child anxiety & OCD via Yale Child Study Center.

Diversity Statement:

I am fortunate to work with multicultural populations across California. My services are available to individuals and families across income brackets, including clients on Medi-Cal (specific to Ventura County).

I train yearly on cultural competency issues. I attended a faith-based university graduate program and feel comfortable working with people who would like to address issues related to religion or spirituality. I am truly privileged to serve a broad array of populations across the beautiful state of California. I enjoy learning clients’ diverse belief systems, especially when they are a source of meaning, strength, and resilience. I respect the personal values of my clients and I strive for cultural humility. My practice is welcoming of all.
