My practice specializes in treating people suffering from OCD and related conditions, including Binge Eating Disorder. The majority of my clients present for help with OCD, anxiety, and compulsive rumination. I have successfully treated dozens of clients with OCD and have treated hundreds of individuals with anxiety disorders. I have supervised dozens of child anxiety cases using family-based approaches.
In addition to treatment for OCD, I also treat co-occurring depression, compulsive or binge eating, and issues pertaining to maternal mental health. I have advanced training and interest in the treatment of compulsive online behavior (“internet addiction”).
I received private 1:1 training in ERP and ongoing case consultation with an OCD Specialist/Clinical Psychologist in NYC who holds a faculty position at NYU. I completed traditional ERP training through the Cognitive Behavioral Institute, Acceptance of Uncertainty ERP, and Rumination-Focused ERP with the founder. I regularly attend case consultation with prominent experts in the field. I completed Postpartum Support International’s training for Perinatal Mood and Anxiety Disorders and I am trained in the SPACE Program for child anxiety & OCD via the Yale Child Study Center. I take advanced IOCDF workshops and attend conferences on a regular basis.
I am fortunate to work with diverse populations across the beautiful state of California. My services are available to individuals and families across income brackets, including clients on Ventura County’s Medi-Cal (Gold Coast Health Plan). My practice welcomes all people irrespective of race, religion, gender, sexuality, and political leanings. I hope to create a space that feels non-judgmental, where all OCD sufferers feel safe to share and work towards recovery.
As a graduate of a faith-based graduate school, I am comfortable working with people who would like to address matters related to religion or spirituality, including histories of religious trauma and abuse. I appreciate clients’ diverse belief systems and welcome exploration of values as a source of conflict, meaning, strength, and resilience. I respect the deeply held beliefs of my clients and I strive for cultural humility and continued growth.
