The majority of my practice is dedicated to OCD treatment. I also see many patient with OCD & ADHD.
I treat co-occurring disorders from a cognitive behavioral conceptualization and engage patients in brief testing to determine diagnosis and symptom severity. Then I prioritize empathy, building rapport, and making sure my patients feel heard and understood. Collaboratively my patients and I engage in agenda setting for what they want or need to focus on. Then we use evidence-based CBT tools to make progress!
I started to receive training in treading OCD and Anxiety disorders in 2017. I completed my post-doctoral training in affiliation with Feeling Good Institute in California with an emphasis in the treatment of OCD and evidence-based cognitive behavioral interventions. I have co-lead an OCD consultation group for the past 4 years and have co-lead CEU Workshops on ERP for OCD.
During my graduate training I conducted research on and received specialized training in working with LGBTQ+ people.
My dissertation research explored the LGBTQ cultural compete of psychologists in private practice. I worked in the Sexual and Gender Identities Clinic at Palo Alto University as a part of my supervised clinical experience during my graduate training.
