Narrative of Services:

I received my MA in Mental Health and Behavioral Medicine from Boston University School of Medicine in 2006. I am a member of the International OCD Foundation and recently completed their 3 day Behavior Therapy Training. I have worked in as variety of settings including hospital, residential and office. As a therapist, I teach and encourage effective techniques in efforts to improve self-growth and awareness. I encourage a collaborative relationship with my patients as I believe it improves motivation and aids in reaching goals.

Training Description:

I have been in private practice since 2008. Much of my experience has been working with depression, anxiety, OCD, grief/loss, sexual abuse/trauma, ADHD, autism and LGBT issues. I enjoy working with all ages, especially children & teenagers. In addition to individual work, I enjoy working with couples and families. My treatment approaches for OCD include Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT).
