As Director of Child and Adolescent Services at the Anxiety and Agoraphobia Treatment Center, Dr. Kasmen specializes in providing cutting-edge, empirically-supported Cognitive-Behavioral therapy (CBT) and Exposure/Response Prevention (E/RP). Dr. Kasmen has expertise in treating children, teens, families and adults affected by OCD, anxiety disorders and OC spectrum disorders. Dr. Kasmen also runs CBT groups for children and teens. In addition to outpatient therapy, intensive treatment is provided.
Dr. Kasmen received her doctoral degree from the Georgia School of Professional Psychology, and completed pre- and post-doctoral fellowships at duPont Hospital for Children. She received specialized training in OCD treatment while working with Dr. Jon Grayson, a member of the IOCDF’s Scientific and Clinical Advisory Board (SCB). An expert in the field with over 15 years of experience, she trains psychologists/other professionals in CBT and serves as anxiety consultant to a large school district. She has written articles and presented numerous workshops on anxiety and OCD (many at IOCDF conferences). Dr. Kasmen is an active member of IOCDF.
