Narrative of Services:

I have been an LCSW since 1999. I initially began private practice in 2012, and predominately work with people with OCD, BFRBs, and Anxiety Disorders. At least 90% of my clients have one of these disorders. I offer MI, ACT, CBT, ERP, I-CBT, CBIT, CPT, and Mindfulness Based Interventions.

Treatment of Co-occurring Disorders:

When working with Tics/Tourettes, I offer CBIT for treatment. With ADHD I offer CBT and Mindfulness Based Interventions. For Anxiety Disorders, I offer CBT, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and Exposure Therapy.

Training Description:

I earned my MSW from UIC Jane Addams College of Social Work in 1997, and became an LCSW in 1999. I began my career as a school social worker working predominately with adolescents with learning challenges and ADHD. I transitioned to private practice in 2012. I have been treating OCD and OCD Spectrum Disorders for the past 13 years. My trainings include BTTI, trainings for I-CBT, TLC Institute for learning to treat BFRBs, multiple ACT trainings through Praxis both in person and online, and virtual trainings offered through PESI for MI. I also provide BFRB trainings for clinicians.

In several states I am licensed there is a cultural competency CE requirement. I take at least one cultural competency course per year.
