I provide outpatient therapy to adolescents and adults with OCD, as well as co-occurring anxiety, mood, trauma, ADHD, and autistic presentations. Approximately half of my caseload presents with concerns related to OCD, and I have treated 50+ individuals with OCD. I provide individual therapy via telehealth and in-person using evidence-based approaches including ERP, CBT, and ACT. My practice emphasizes individualized and collaborative care that considers the broader context in which your OCD symptoms occur.
I provide individualized treatment for OCD alongside ADHD, autism, anxiety, mood disorders and PTSD. My treatment structure is collaborative, with focus and pacing shaped by my client’s goals, current needs, and how co-occurring conditions interact with OCD symptoms. I integrate ERP with DBT, ACT, psychodynamic, and skills-based approaches, adapting interventions for neurodivergence, trauma history, executive functioning needs, and emotional regulation needs. Depending on presentation, OCD and co-occurring concerns may be addressed concurrently or sequentially. We will regularly reassess treatment priorities to support sustainable and meaningful change. I am also happy to collaborate with outside providers as appropriate.
I have approximately 3 years of experience treating OCD. My training includes continuing education in OCD presentations, ERP treatment, and using CBT and ACT for OCD. I love to learn, and I continue to pursue specialized training, consultation, and continuing education in OCD treatment to strengthen my practice and remain current with evidence-based approaches. I have particular experience working with moral scrupulosity and perfectionism.
I have experience working with clients from diverse racial, ethnic, cultural, religious, socioeconomic, gender, and sexual orientation backgrounds. I have substantial experience working with LGBTQ+, disabled/chronically ill, and neurodivergent clients. I have also worked substantially with individuals affected by sexual violence, relationship violence, and religious trauma. I aim to understand each client’s cultural identities, social context, and values as relevant to their mental health and treatment goals.
My social work education and professional experience have emphasized intersectionality, trauma-informed practice, social justice, and culturally responsive care. My approach is grounded in cultural humility and ongoing learning and reflection about how my own assumptions, identities, and lenses may shape treatment. I continue to pursue education and consultation to strengthen my practice with all clients, particularly those impacted by multiple systems of oppression and those often denied access to quality care.
