Narrative of Services:

Sydney Kirsch Psychotherapy specializes in helping children, adolescents, and young adults manage OCD and anxiety-related disorders. The practice utilizes evidence-based treatments—including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT)—which are proven effective for these conditions.

A unique service offered is an outpatient intensive program, providing 1–3 weeks of targeted therapy for moderate to severe OCD. These sessions take place in the settings where symptoms occur most often, such as the home, school, or community.

Sydney works collaboratively with clients to create a safe, supportive environment where they can address challenges and build skills to regain control over their thoughts and behaviors. Her goal is to empower individuals to lead fulfilling lives by managing anxiety and developing lasting resilience.

Treatment of Co-occurring Disorders:
Sydney Kirsch Psychotherapy treats OCD and a range of anxiety disorders, including generalized anxiety disorder, social anxiety disorder, relationship anxiety, separation anxiety, and school refusal. The frequency and duration of each client’s sessions are determined based on the severity of symptoms and level of functional impairment.
Diversity Statement:
I prioritize cultural competency in my practice and choose to stay current with ongoing professional training. I complete continuing education, including cultural competency training, to provide informed and culturally responsive care to every client.
