Saryna Konczey LMFT, LPCC
Psychotherapist
My practice focus on OCD / OCD Spectrum Disorders (tics / Tourette’s, skin picking, trichotillomania, illness anxiety), other anxiety issues (social anxiety, generalized anxiety, phobias, panic, agoraphobia), along with relationship struggles, parent coaching, LGBTQIA+ affirming, identity and self-esteem struggles, and trauma-related issues.
I have been treating OCD and OCD Spectrum Disorders in 2015, and I use a combined approach of ACT, CBT, and ERP. I attended the BTTI in 2017, and have completed various other OCD trainings as well. I have also completed certificate courses in CBIT. I continue to engage in advanced-level training courses for OCD, ACT, CBT, ERP to further my knowledge and practice in these areas.
I am a queer woman with Western European, Eastern European, and Mexican heritage. And as someone whose therapeutic practice is rooted in functional contextualism, I strive to notice cultural pieces that may impact clients in their therapeutic process and work to incorporate those in treatment planning.
