Narrative of Services:

As an anxiety therapist, over 90% of my clinical practice focuses on treating OCD and related disorders, including Generalized Anxiety Disorder (GAD), Social Anxiety Disorder, Panic Disorder, Specific Phobias, Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD), and Sleep Disorders. I specialize in addressing recurrent and intrusive thoughts, urges, or images that trigger compulsive behaviors, aiming to alleviate distress and improve daily functioning for individuals seeking support.

Treatment of Co-occurring Disorders:

In my practice, I specialize in treating OCD and co-occurring disorders that often accompany it. These include Generalized Anxiety Disorder (GAD), Social Anxiety Disorder, Panic Disorder, Specific Phobias, Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), and Sleep Disorders. By addressing these overlapping conditions, I aim to provide comprehensive and effective treatment to enhance overall well-being and help clients manage the complexities of living with OCD and its related challenges.

Training Description:

I am completed a postdoctoral fellowship completed at the Center for Anxiety in New York. My clinical experience is focused on treating anxiety disorders, particularly OCD. I have received extensive training in Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), with my ACT trainings conducted by Russ Harris. Helping individuals with OCD and related conditions is a significant part of my practice, and I am dedicated to providing evidence-based treatments to support their well-being.

Diversity Statement:

As an inclusive therapist, I am dedicated to providing compassionate care to individuals from diverse ethnicities, cultural backgrounds, and socio-economic statuses. My practice embraces the richness of diversity, and I strive to create a safe and supportive environment where everyone feels heard, valued, and respected. I recognize the unique challenges and strengths that each individual brings, and I tailor my therapeutic approach to meet their specific needs and preferences. Embracing diversity enriches my practice, allowing me to learn from my clients and promote their well-being through culturally sensitive and affirming therapy.

I have specialized training and experience in working with autistic clients, using an approach that affirms their identity as autistic individuals. A significant portion of my practice is dedicated to helping those who grapple with the intersection of autism, anxiety, and OCD. I aim to provide tailored support that acknowledges and respects their unique experiences and challenges.
